Visitors were given a beautiful program as they arrived at John Diefenbaker School
A bulletin board and willow furniture welcomed guests to the school.
The school was decorated with Willow Awards bulletin boards.
Lieutenant Governor Gordon Barnhart addressed the audience during the program
Students sang "It's my book", a song written by one of the teachers from John Diefenbaker School.
Arthur Slade was in attendance to receive the 2010 Diamond Willow Award for Jolted.
Susin Nielsen accepts the Snow Willow Award for her novel, Word Nerd.
This bulletin board encourages young readers to choose their favourite or "Most Wanted" author for the Willow Awards.
Scaredy Squirrel's tree is from award winning author Melanie Watt's book.
