Want to Host the 2026 SaskEnergy Willow Awards Gala?

Consider hosting the 2026 Willow Awards Gala this spring! It’s a wonderful, exciting way to involve the whole school in celebrating great Canadian books, meeting authors and promoting reading! Look on our Gala page for videos, photos of previous Galas and how you can apply. A liaison from the Willow Board will help with any questions you may have. The application deadline is November 12, 2025.

Launching the 2025-2026 Willow Award Finalists!

Each fall, we ask people to share the ways in which they will promote Willow reading in their school or library communities throughout the year. We hold a “Launch Contest” and every person who sends us their ideas and/or photos is entered in a draw for book prizes. Your school or library could win a full set of Willow finalist titles! How will you introduce the books and encourage children and youth to read them? Find out more information about the Launch on our page. The deadline for entry is November 12, 2025.

Willow Awards Virtual Bottle Drive Drop & Go

Donate the value of your order to The Willow Awards!

Drop & Go is a new service that is available at all SARCAN depots in Saskatchewan. It allows customers to skip lineups by leaving their order at the depot and getting their refunds transferred electronically. Your order will still be counted by Sarcan staff!
