November Board Meeting Highlights

The hardworking volunteers of the Willow Awards' Board met November 28 and 29 in Regina. Mornings were spent developing the Strategic Plan in the areas of organizational structure, fiscal responsibility, communication and sustainability.
Highlights from the business meeting:
- Six schools: Brevoort Park, Saskatoon, Eyebrow Sr. School, Eyebrow; Lindale School, Moose Jaw, Mortlach School, Mortlach; Ethel Milliken School, Regina; Dr. Hanna School, Regina will receive books for submitting Launch Activities. Brevoort Park will receive the nominated books; the others will receive a box of approximately 30 books.

The 2009 Gala will be at Lumsden Elementary School.

A new edition of our newsletter, Willow Winds, will be published in December.
- The Willow Awards will now recognize Gold Patrons who donate $5000 or more and Silver Patrons who donate $3000 to$4999, in addition to Patrons ($1000-$2999), Sponsors ($500 to $999), Friends ($100-$499) and Members ($20- $99).
