Nathaniel, a mischievous boy goes to visit his grandfather. Gramp's house is a mansion filled with interesting knickknacks. Nathaniel begins to explore the attic and can't resist entering a forbidden room. He notices a pirate's hook and picks it up. He is not prepared for his trip to a pirate ship and his meeting with the infamous pirate Bigbeard.
