Snow
By Joan Clark, Illustrated by Kady MacDonald Denton.
Sammy is delighted when it starts to snow and doesn't stop for a month. The world is completely covered in snow. Everything, trees and houses, have disappeared and plows and shovels come to clear away the snow. Sammy climbs to the highest point he can find which is the roof of his house and he imagines what is beneath the snow. Everyday he goes out and imagines the possibilities as the snow begins to disappear with the sun warming up the earth.
