It started as a game: find something magical so we can pass through the mountains.  We found a ring, but now others are after it.  The journey between Vancouver and Calgary will never be the same.

From the author:
The Nexus Ring was born out of games and silliness with my husband and two daughters as we traveled from Calgary to Sooke, on Vancouver Island, and home again, each summer; and out of a deep love for the incredible beauty of the places we stopped at along the way. And it grew from there, because I just like making up stories. Many children have an ability to fluidly shift from reality into fantasy in their own
imaginations; I love to write about kids who really get to do that.
