Caroline Pignat graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Religious Studies. She is a teacher, a mentor and coach for children and youth, and an accomplished writer. Caroline is the successful author of Egghead, her first YA novel, and more recently Greener Grass (2008) – a historical fiction for young adults taking place during the Irish Famine in 1847. She was born in Dublin, Ireland and currently lives in Kanata, Ontario with her husband and two children.
