About the Author
VICKI GRANT has been called “one of the funniest writers working today” (The Vancouver Sun). She began her career writing scripts for series such as Theodore Tugboat, Big Comfy Couch and her own Gemini Award–winning preschool comedy, Scoop & Doozie. Her comic legal thriller Quid Pro Quo was described as “John Grisham for the skateboard set.” It won the Arthur Ellis Award for Best Juvenile Crime Fiction and was nominated for a slew of prizes, including the Edgar Allan Poe Award and the Canadian Library Association’s Book of the Year.
