Most of the town works at the drug research facility on Vancouver Island.  Maya questions the drowning death of her best friend, and the reporter who keeps returning to interview teens. Does Maya's pawprint birthmark have anything to do with the frequent cougar sightings?  She needs to make sense of what is happening to her.

Kelley Armstrong is the author of The New York Times bestselling Darkest Powers trilogy, which includes The Summoning, The Awakening, and The Reckoning, as well as the internationally bestselling "Women of the Otherworld" series. Kelley has been telling stories since before she could write. Her earliest written efforts were disastrous. If asked for a story about girls and dolls, hers would invariably feature undead girls and evil dolls, much to her teachers’ dismay. Today, she continues to spin tales of ghosts and demons and werewolves, while safely locked away in her basement writing dungeon. She lives in southwestern Ontario with her husband, kids and far too many pets.

I loved the Gathering too! It was a great read and I can't wait for the next book. I haven't read the Fury, but it looks interesting, but maybe I will hold off on that one. I just read Unearthly by Cynthia Hands and it is great! It takes place in . JACKSON, WY!! Really good if you like angel books. The 2nd book comes out in January so you wluodn't have to wait long. Anyway, Thanks for sharing your thoughts on those books. Miss you guys.
